INAA is pleased to share information regarding the Iida Scholarship, a short-term internship opportunity supported by Iida Corporation for Indonesian young faculty members and students.
The Iida Scholarship aims to support NAIST Indonesian Alumni Association (INAA) and their students in enhancing academic knowledge and research skills through short-term internships conducted at NAIST.
Who Can Apply
- INAA members (list members),
- 39 years old or younger researchers recommended by INAA members, or
- Students recommended by INAA members

How do I submit my application?
1. For INAA Members
INAA members may submit their Form 01 – Application Form directly to the contact person of the relevant division.
2. For Students or Young Researchers Recommended by INAA Members
INAA member must contact their university’s coordinator or committee to recommend student or young researcher and request coordinator or committee to fill the Form 02 – Recommendation Letter.
The student or young researcher should then submit the Form 01 – Application Form together with the Form 02 – Recommendation Letter to the contact person of the relevant division.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- All applicants must obtain prior approval from a faculty member in the laboratory applicants wish to choose before submitting the application.
- Applicants must cc the President of INAA when emailing their completed application.
- Is there an age limit for INAA members who wish to apply?
No. There is no age restriction for alumni members.
While the scholarship is primarily designed to support students or early-stage researchers, INAA members of any age remain eligible to apply.
- How is the internship period determined?
The internship period is decided through discussion between the applicant and the faculty member of the laboratory they wish to join. Applicants are expected to coordinate directly with the prospective host faculty member to agree on a suitable internship period.
