JAKARTA-Prof. Masashi Kawaichi, a head of NAIST Division of Educational Development, fulfilled the invitation from UI to participate in the 4th International Conference on Global Health (ICGH 2019) as a plenary speaker. The conference was held in Borobudur Hotel in September 26-28, Jakarta. He delivered his speech in the second day of the conference before leaving for UPN Veteran Jakarta for other agenda.
In UPN Veteran Jakarta, Prof. Kawaichi is welcomed by our alumni and the president of the university. In his first visit to this institution, Prof. Kawaichi was requested to talk about his research as well as introducing NAIST programs. The seminar was attended by hundreds of participants including university staffs and students. The general goal for this visit is to seek collaborative work that can be made by both institutions in the future.
